I am Rick Feldman, a photographer based in Upland, CA creating boudoir and glamour photography throughout greater Los Angeles and the Inland Empire.
I did not find photography. Photography found me when I needed it most.
After the loss of my oldest son I was lost and broken. One of the few things that helped me find my way back was creating art through photography. What started as healing became a calling. Black Kat Studios is the result of that journey and every session I shoot carries that same intention. To create something meaningful, something lasting, something that reminds you of your own beauty and strength.
I was raised all over Southern California and have spent my life deeply connected to this place, its light, its energy and its people. I am married to my incredible wife Bhavini and together we have four amazing sons.
My photography is defined by a fearless use of light and shadow, bold color and intimate storytelling. Whether you come to me for boudoir or glamour my goal is always the same. To create images that feel cinematic, personal and unmistakably you.

I am a male photographer who shoots boudoir. I know that gives some women pause and I respect that completely.
Every session takes place at a professional third party studio with security camera coverage. You will never be in an unfamiliar space alone with someone you just met. Professional hair and makeup is available if you want it. And if you would feel more comfortable bringing a friend she is always welcome. Just make sure she is your biggest cheerleader. This is your moment. A supportive hype woman is always welcome. A skeptic is not.
